A WWY Livelihood Initiative in Jharkhand

Women artisans from Jharkhand shaping their future through traditional crafts

Who We Are

Winner With You (WWY) is a grassroots nonprofit based in Jharkhand, working to uplift rural and tribal communities through education, sustainable livelihoods, and dignity.

Founded by local changemakers, WWY empowers farmers, artisans, and children while preserving traditional knowledge. We collaborate with government, CSR partners, and global allies to create meaningful, ground-level impact.

Our work is driven by community needs, equity, collaboration, and excellence.

We believe change begins with people — and grows stronger with you.
Together, we are Winners — with You.

What We Do

🌾 Sustainable Livelihoods

We create income opportunities for rural and tribal communities through agriculture, value chain development, and skill-based enterprises. Our focus areas include jaggery production, mustard cultivation, bamboo craft, and artisan-based livelihoods.

📚 Education & Culture for a Better Future

We support underprivileged children through child sponsorship, a Montessori-based school, and remedial learning centers. Alongside academics, we nurture local culture and values, helping children grow with confidence, curiosity, and community pride.

🎨Traditional Art & Craft Revival

We preserve and promote traditional art forms like Sohrai-Khovar, Paitkar, and Dokra, creating market-linked opportunities for artisans.

🔬 Research & Rural Development

We drive innovation through research, field trials, and community-based pilots in agriculture, crafts, and livelihoods. Our focus is on locally adaptable solutions that strengthen income, conserve culture, and support sustainable growth in rural Jharkhand.

🧑‍🎓 Capacity Building

We train farmers, artisans, and grassroots workers to enhance skills, improve productivity, and lead change in their communities.

🤝 Partnerships for Impact

We collaborate with Individuals, CSR partners, government agencies and Coorporates to scale innovations and ensure accountability in rural development.

Impact Stories

"We knew how to grow sugarcane, but not how to grow our income. This project changed that"- Khirodhar Mahto

Barkagaon’s farmers once struggled with poor returns with jaggery production — today, with support from NABARD’s FSPF and WWY, they’ve adopted scientific farming, built permanent processing units, developed new products, and reached national markets. 324 farmers now earn more and prepare for GI tagging of their traditional jaggery.

“Earlier, I painted walls during festivals. Now, my art is on bags people carry across cities — and I earn from it.” — Monika Lakra, Sohrai Artist, Isko Village

In the villages of Jharkhand, women once practiced Sohrai-Khovar and Paitkar art only during festivals — now, through WWY’s craft revival efforts, they’ve turned tradition into livelihood, painting on jute, bamboo, and fabric, and selling their work at exhibitions, online platforms, and local fairs with pride and income both growing.
